3. Prepare the planting media
The planting medium for planting tomatoes can be made from a combination of soil, husk charcoal, and compost in a ratio of 2: 1: 1. Prepare this planting medium a few days before using it so that the minerals in the compost can mix well.
4. Tomato seed nursery
Put the ready seeds into the pots and then cover them again using soil. Leave the seeds for one week and keep them moist by watering the seeds daily for 14 days.

How to Grow Hydroponic Tomatoes
There is a slight difference in growing hydroponic tomatoes. This difference is found in the selection of planting media, seeding, and the nutrition provided.
1. Media Planting
If you want to grow tomatoes hydroponically, you only need to change the planting medium. The hydroponic planting media that you can use is quite diverse.
You can use sand, roasted husks, hydro towns, gravel, coco grow, and root fibers as your hydroponic tomato planting medium.
2. Seeding
If you are using the hydroponic method, you need to soak the seeds in warm water for 4 – 8 hours. Then, place the seeds in the planting medium so that they sprout at a warm temperature and in the shade.
If the sprouts are out, you can provide direct sunlight for up to 14 days or until the tomato seeds have 5 leaves.
3. Additional Nutrition
In planting with the hydroponic method, other additional nutrients, which is called A-B mix, are needed. A-B mix is a solution made from chemicals that are given through the planting medium so that hydroponic plants can grow well.
