Web server is software that functions as a recipient of requests sent through a browser and then provides a response to requests in the form of web site pages or more generally in HTML documents. Some of the most widely used web servers include apache, IIS, nginx and many more. How to install the Apache web server is as follows:

The first step is to make sure that our server already has an IP address, it would be better if we have made DNS for example school.sch.id. In this article, the server computer will use the IP Address 192.168.1.1 without DNS.

The second step is to install the apache2 application package by typing the following command:

Pertama tama kita edit file konfigurasi berikut :

nano /etc/apache2/sites-available/000-default.conf

See the picture below! The line marked in red is where the web server is stored. We can change the location according to server needs.

After finishing changing the web server storage location, we have to restart the apache service. The command is as follows:

/etc/init.d/apache2 restart

That's the "standard" apache web server configuration on Debian 10, in fact this web server can be paired with CMS WordPress or Joomla. Maybe in the next article I will share the WordPress CMS configuration on the Apache Debian 10 Web Server. Hopefully it will be useful.
