It is interesting to note that there are similarities in what is happening in the world today. On the one hand, we see the pressures of European powers exerted in an orderly fashion on the Islamic world, and their strenuous efforts to eradicate Islam altogether, but on the other hand, we find a large number of hadiths of the Prophet that foretell the fitnah and trials that will befall them. Muslims at the end of time, the predictions of which are almost all fulfilled, in the form of events that befell the Islamic world today. Even more surprising, because the prophecy was spoken at a time when Islam was in a victorious state, and the whole world was terrified at the rapid progress of Islam.
